Congressman Jamie Raskin created Democracy Summer to help high school and college students get behind-the-scenes of a real political campaign. They learn about how our democracy functions, and have guest lecturers who are experts on constitutional law and voting rights. For me it was inspiring to see these young people thrive in this summer program.
